A hectic summer, saw Swanbourne’s new music classroom go from receipt of planning permission in July, through Building Regulations and Construction ready for opening in the September term.
Harland Architecture were very pleased to be involved, once more, with Primate Productions, and numerous other supporters and volunteers, in the Second, Whitley Bay Film Festival. A nice start to the new year, we have been awarded a Building Excellence award from Sunderland City Council, for the remodelling of Silversands in Whitburn. The main event of the week was the arrival and installation of the two glazed units at Ashbrooke. The first a 3 section sliding arrangement nearly 7m in length and the second a smaller 3 section sliding/folding arrangement 3.2m in length, fitted into the pre-prepared openings.
February 2008. Phase 1 fully watertight, warm roof, windows and temporary doors installed.
